Fallen Angel

 

An angel falls into the abyss of nothingness,
She landed on a cold empty ground,
With her battered face and bruised body.
She felt the icy wind as it touched her skin.
She shivered as the cold permeated her body
Trembling from coldness
She looked for sanctuary.
Her feet is like the wind,
Still looking for that safe haven
Until she found one.
As she stayed at her small abode,
Unbidden thoughts crossed her mind,
That no matter how painful her wound,
She will bear it with her might,
No matter how lonely she is,
She’ll find a way to embrace the loneliness
And maybe someday, somehow
She’ll find her way back home.

Light of Day

In the darkness,
I stumbled and fell down,
I cried out and picked myself up,
Looking for a way out
And seek the wondrous light.
I learned the hard way,
But I still have faith and hope.
So I kept on praying and hoping
Until my tears has dried out.
I kept getting the same route,
Over and over again.
Nothing much has change
Until a tidbit of hope is left.
