Fallen Angel

An angel falls into the abyss of nothingness,
She landed on a cold empty ground,
With her battered face and bruised body.
She felt the icy wind as it touched her skin.
She shivered as the cold permeated her body
Trembling from coldness
She looked for sanctuary.
Her feet is like the wind,
Still looking for that safe haven
Until she found one.
As she stayed at her small abode,
Unbidden thoughts crossed her mind,
That no matter how painful her wound,
She will bear it with her might,
No matter how lonely she is,
She’ll find a way to embrace the loneliness
And maybe someday, somehow
She’ll find her way back home.

Light of Day

In the darkness,
I stumbled and fell down,
I cried out and picked myself up,
Looking for a way out
And seek the wondrous light.
I learned the hard way,
But I still have faith and hope.
So I kept on praying and hoping
Until my tears has dried out.
I kept getting the same route,
Over and over again.
Nothing much has change
Until a tidbit of hope is left.
I held on to my little strength
Held on and simply waited,
That I’ll be getting out
And see the light of day.

Quotes Dedicated to Mao

Day 1 – November 17: A quote for Mao

When I see you smile,
You take my breath away,
I thought I got over you,
But I was wrong,
You can still affect me with your presence.
I even noticed little things about you.
So how can i get over you?
I don’t know the answer
But for now,
I’m just happy to see you every weekdays.

Day 2 – November 18: A quote for Mao

I wish I have the courage to ask,
“how’s your day, did it went well?”
But these words seemed to lodge at throat
and left me tongue-tied.
I’m afraid to speak out,
And you might not answer.
It’s better to keep my mouth shut,
look at you from afar and be content.

*****

Day 3 – November 23: A quote for Mao

If only I have the courage to talk to you
Without being self-conscious around you
If only I can look at you
Without glancing away
If only I could stop babbling things
As you are making me nervous whenever you’re around.

*****

Day 4 – November 24: A quote for Mao

You are the apple of my eye
Everytime you passed by
You make me want to sigh
Today, you look fine and dandy
Like a pink cotton candy
Perchance, do you smell good and sweet?
I’ll never be sure
For I am afraid to get too close
You might notice how I feel about you
I don’t know what’s the cure
Of this hopeless one-sided woe
But I know I would remain true
Of my admiration to you….

*****

Day 5 – November 25: A quote for Mao

If only I could freeze the moment,
When you and I see eye to eye.
If only I could reach out
And touch your face gently.
If only I could capture the moment,
When you smile at me.

Day 6 – November 30: A quote for Mao

Karon nga gabhiona
Gibati ko ug kalipay
Kay wala ko magdahom
Na moagi ka sa akong kiliran.
Wala baka masayod sa akong kahimtang
Nga ang akong kasingkasing nabiktima
Sa imong maanyag nga hulagway.
Maayo unta kung makasabot ka
Sa akong gibati diha kanimo
Kay dili diay lalim nga maibog
Nga walay sukod.
Busa akong gitago ang akong gibati
Kay kaulaw nalang kung imong mahibawan
Ang akong gitagoan nga pagbati diha kanimo.

Free voice calls via Gmail

Users can now make calls with their Gmail accounts, using this service theyhttp://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/48872000/jpg/_48872011_img_5993.jpg can now place calls to landline and mobile phones. The free voice calls are used until the end of the year and are offered only in the US and Canada while International calls cost at low rates; a link is shown with countries and their rates.

Craig Walker, product manager for real-time communications told BBC News “This is a real big deal because now hundreds of millions of Gmail users can make phone calls right from their Gmail page. They don’t need to download an added application or anything to start making really high-quality low-cost calls. For the user it means much more efficient and low-cost communications.”

The firm stated that the product is spread out in the US, in the mean time international users can make use of the feature being offered because of an error.

A spokesperson said, “Unintentionally we briefly made the service available to non-US English users and we do hope to bring it to our international users soon.”

The feature will appear on the left hand part of the Gmail page within the “chat” window. When you click on the “call phone” option, a number pad will pop up to let you dial the number of the person you want to talk to.

“Money raised from international calls will pay for the free US and Canadian calls,” said Google.

Danny Sullivan, editor-in-chief of technology blog SearhEngineLand stated “What surprised me was that they actually said they hope to make money off the calls.”

“Normally Google is like ‘We don’t know how we are going to make the money’ or ‘We will make money down the way, don’t worry about it’ and this stands out as a big benefit that they get actual revenue early on.”

This new feature from Google will benefit a lot of people from different countries especially those who are working oversees so they can keep in touch with their family and love ones. Commonly, people are using Skype for internet phone and it takes users to adjust and try to use the new Google feature being offered.

As the senior writer with technology news site CNET.com Tom Krazit stated, “Skype is a well known company in this place and they are almost like a verb in the internet calling world in the way Google is with search. You Skype someone. So I think there is some inertia there to get over and I am interested to see how Gmail users respond.”

Google has change the way things on the internet, people can benefit from using this feature and pretty soon they will create a mobile version just like Skype. How cool is that! For people out there, you need to try the new feature being offered and see what it can do.
